I see this all to often "TNF doesn't care about our complaints" "TNF is too lazy for that" "TNF won't do that" so on and so forth.... Guys 'n Gals I have been playing for awhile and I have seen many changes to this game. Many bugs have been fixed, new ships added, new game mode, more missions etc. etc..... Now I don't want to disappoint you guys but I highly doubt you are on TNF's good side when you constantly say crap about him, and being on his bad side I highly doubt he does give a crap about you... Don't bite the hand that feeds you... Just give him and his devs team time to fix what they need to fix, work out the problems with the new ideas and adding any new thing.... What we suggest to them is just that, a suggestion, it is up to them (the people in charge of the game as a whole) to include our suggestions or to discard them because that isn't the direction they want their game to go.... I don't know how you guys expect them to come out with our ideas overnight, it takes lots of time to write out the coding for simple things, and one small little detail gone unnoticed will change the entire script, thus it takes time to come out with our ideas. If you guys are utterly upset with TNF and the rest of the team, get on with your life (assuming you have one) and find a different game.... No doubt this isn't a perfect game and yes it does need work on, but for crying out loud just shut and play or leave.....

guitarism, EXACTLY....My brother is a computer programmer that does c/c++ and java (he is WCM4HIM) and spends hours a day and sometimes a couple of days to do a simple task...Such as creating a starcase and putting on a wall paper then make it have a reflection so on and so forth.... One simple little detail may screw up the entire picture or program. Somthing as simple as :

blue .>stairs<

Vs

blue .>stairs<

could make a huge difference and having tons of lines of this kind of coding with hours at the computer these happen... When these happen he needs too look at every single line and every single letter/space to be sure they are the right letter or number of spaces between letter as to fix the problem. Now what he does is nothing compared to this game... Many of the problems in the game might be because of conflicting commands or one to many spaces in the script or a number of little details, that need hours of overlooking to figure out what is wrong....Then if the problem is because of a conflicting command he need to do tests after fix the lines to be sure the original correct command is the same and as should be...

Bottom line this game does have problems and yes it might take a while for the NF team to fix em but this game is free and they do fix bugs.... Once this comes out retail and you pay for the game, then complain...

Programming is a monotonic job. It's not neceassary hard. In fact, many developers use computer programs to write computer programs.

Optimizing a code can be hard, but writing a regular game like Navy Field is not hard. All you have to do is read the documentation and use a bunch of library functions. Many noob programmers have trouble because they fail to create a good structure for their programs. When you have a bad structure for your code, it becomes hell to debug anything. I personal have developed a real application for research purposes. That's about one year of work. I can tell you that the amount of work you need to debug a code largely depends on the quality of your original code.

If TeamNF is having trouble debugging today, chances are they slacked off in the past. They put together a sloppy "NF2" with a bad structure. Now they are paying the price. Under this circumstance, I probably will not blame them for taking 1 month just to fix the radioman bug. But I do blame them for being lazy when they wrote the original code.

Lets put it like this....

Have you ever tried programing anything?
I have; let me tell you, it takes a hell of a lot to even do simple things... I know a fair share of java and even with the compiler and all the extra gui interface thingies... Its hard as hell.

So until you have tried even progaming a hundreth of this game, stfu.... And there, thats from a relative newbie. I may not have been here as long as some tohers, but common sense doesnt always abound...

Once again, stfu about how fixes don't come out. You want a fix? You program it.....

'nuff said.

(p.s. Yes, stop whining. A conciese and well written bug report is good. Whining about how things are wacked outa shape in your persepective is not good...)

The problem isn't the fixes they put out (which often do create new problems, but that's beside the point), it's how fast they put them out. The game isn't all that different from a year ago. Same ships are good (Q nerf exception for DD no torp games), lots of the same bugs, still lots of crashing/lag, still very repetitive gameplay.

Am I complaining? You can look at that way, or you could look at it as me telling all those who complain to just sit back, take a chill pill, play the game and have some fun or leave..... If nothing is said to those who complain constantly then how are we (or just me) to expect them to shut up?

I find it ironic that this post is, in itself, a complaint.

if no 1 complained about problems things wouldn't be "fixed".....thats how the real world also works, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. also i hate to point this out for being so obvious that it blinds most of us, but aren't you complaining as well? just saying........
