I check exp when i am interested in some way of how much i got, usually just to see how much that brook gave me or whatever.

I have stopped grinding as of this week, and im just dicking around an a frigate. I named my FF02-M3 KitakamiKILLER! and it goes 72 knts with torps and guns. All i do every battle is chase a kitakami and stay glued and kill it slowly with 2 5" guns. If there are no kitas, or if i already killed it, i chase fubus.

Nevermind dont ask bluedelt. he doesnt talk. Im doing this on vancouver, btw. My FF used to be named Crappie-Killer! just to antagonize him. he is my primary target, and i always stalk him with the /where command and kill him.

It is the most fun i have EVER had in NF. Y'all should try it.

I can't help but check the exp I get. I play to get a bigger, better ship that I can have more fun with. I have fun in the battles, but I still want a bigger, badder ship to kill stuff with.

I mostly play for fun...I can't stand serious mission whoring (I use missions to test new equipment, thats it)or op convoy....

The need for exp for new equipement means that I branch out and is not an proud owners of 4 nations, from Mogami CL/Oyodo/Kumakai, to Brook, L, and Z99....the next project is hosho at 2 levels... To me, branching into new game play is far more important than getting bigger ships, so getting an Sirus would be more interesting than getting myoko(I have bo and lv45 gunners) or mogami ca....

If all I did was power level 1 crew, with no wasteful games like playing ffy, joining CL/CA/BB in a CL, I'd be using Ise most probably, at least an 4bar Mogami CA.....but I probably would have quit far before that.

Right now I have an grand total of 7 BO.....lol

But yah, a good CL game can be fun even without the XP. I actually enjoy a good CL only game more than those tediously stacked OC games.
