Dear Fans of NF,

I have a bit of news that could be looked at as either good or bad, and a bit of news
that should make all of you happy.

First off, the most important news: Navy Field will go retail next Wednesday,
February 8th, not this Friday the 3rd as previously stated. We hope that this extra
time will allow players more time to get ready for payment options.

Second, servers will be merged. This will occur on the night of retail, Feb 8th during
the regularly scheduled server maintenance. Yamato and Iowa will merge together
as will Prince of Wales and Bismarck. Players will NOT be able to choose which server
they wish to play on. If you have accounts on both servers that are merging, then
you should make sure you will not have over 50 sailors when both accounts are
combined.

Third, and lastly, we do have some very good news for tonight. Currently we have
been testing our new US located servers. The testing has gone well, and after
tonight's server maintanence, you will be playing on these new US servers.

I apologize for the potential shock that you may feel from this update, but it is all
meant for the best. Extra time before retail for players to get ready. Merging servers
in order to provide a better game playing experience, and also new US servers that
will help provide a smoother connection. I thank you again for all of your continued
