  • tactics, really?

I was just in a game (in kita, ya, noob, I know) and had spent all my torps , so I was
flanking the flag in case a renegade sub got through. I at least could stop a couple
of torps.

Anyway, we sank their flaf and had 1 minute lest on the times, south was clear but
the flag headed norst straight into 2 BB5s, that everyone saw. I mean, what's up
with that? Had our flag just kept on course it was a sure win.

This was a 4GB CV, so no rookie. If I knew this silliness was about to happen I could
of just saved a few torps and sunk her myself and saved us 4 minutes.

No wonder people get mad at this game.

And this says it best "I'm sorry that someone made a mistake and you lost the
game. Perhaps you shouldn't dwell on it."

Speaking of tactics, the flag not loading actually could put the other team at a tactical
disadvantage. If their flag is sunk, they have already used their counter attack. Tactics
is the ability to take the situation you are in and make choices that effect the outcome
in a way that allows you to win.

I'm sorry that someone made a mistake and you lost the game. Perhaps you shouldn't dwell
on it.

And god forbid something happened in real life(perhaps) so they had to leave their
PCs. I'm sure for some people, their entire life was based around that ONE particular
game, but for others not so much.

Well now, even in the best of games the BB flagship was umm. . 'encouraged' by his team
mates to stay well back of the front line fighting. Which often enough led to that team
seriously lacking firepower on the BB line when the flag was a BB4 or better. CVs only as
flags helps to avoid that issue.

Nothing will overcome the problems of idiots, lol-sabotagers, disconnects or even the
occasional loss of situational awareness.

Apparently the flag was placed on CVs to prevent idiots from rushing and dying as weill as
ABing.

There are still idiots as flag and I've seen more (what I would call) AB on this newly
merged server than on MO/YO when CVs are flags in the form of voluntarily retreating. NOT
crashing, NOT sinking, NOT rushing the enemy team.

When BBs were able to be flagships, it seemed i was it ever seconf or thord battle.
That being said, my only prioriy was to perseve a win, damage didn't count.

The good old days I guess?

Could be a miss move as he controlled cv instead of airraft and not knowing what
was doing.

"For some reason I thought this was the senior sever and people knew how to play.
I've never seen this on Nelson in the last year I was there. "

You must have alt tabbed alot after being sunk then.
Happened often enough.

Simple solution: Give BB the ability to be flags.

Come on, I threw on my level 50 SN crew for a break from leveling in a gunship.

And I haven't played a CV since the first year NF went out of beta.

But hey, kita is fun for an afternoon, it just is. No pressure, no thought, you just fire
off 75k/100k damage and come back in 15 minutes.

For some reason I thought this was the senior sever and people knew how to play.
