so, i just tked someone shooting my fighters for one scout...

why cant those who just go around spamming aa at anything with out regaurd for other
players be punished?

i know im going to get a 3 day ban, but the fact these people can completely ruin a game
for low level cvs when they try to make EVERY plane count... even after you ask them to
stop they dont. there is NO penalty for these people, in fact in a game with tach i was in
my bogue (i like the ship) and i had one of those completely slaughter a whole flight of
fighters for ONE scout leaving me gimped and soon out of fighters...

Buff AA,nerf CV's.

Putting that aside...

Keep your fighters over the friendly battle line, your just BEGGING to have them shot
down by friendly AA.

Put them over the enemy BB's,scout with them and try to intercept any enemy
bombers, providing your BB's actually have a brain, you'll most likely win the game.

And please, for the love of god,DON'T LEAVE THEM AT DEFAULT HEIGHT AND DON'T PUT
ALL YOUR PLANES ON 1 PILOT.

Exactly! What would be the point of AA only ships if CVs keep their fighters over
friendly ships as defense? Keep them at least in the middle of both sides so you can
intercept any planes early.

Your Fts should be over the enemys BBs. So...

Its not AAs problem if you want to make their job.

@ V2, I'm not talking about fighter cover for scouts on the red side of the pond, I'm
talking about FC against bombers on our side of the pond.

Here's where the issue is with me in my GZ and T2 fighters. 1. I can't do squat to a
T3-4 E/B/V/E squadron. 2. If i see a few scout over my teammates and they yell for
FC, I launch the planes. At this time, my team isn't firing at the planes. Then my
planes get overhead and start taking out the scouts/scouting bombers. Once my
planes get into range of friendly AA, they instantly think they should fire now. So
basically they just call for FC so they can kill my planes. I agree, CVs just shouldn't
launch planes if this happens. They can go cry their eyes out. I don't honestly care if
they want to kill my planes. Add a penalty for shooting friendly planes and you might,
JUST might, get more CV players.

Edit: @lj
I do the same thing if i see something hopeless like that. If I see a squad of friendly
bombers that dropped their load and a squad of T4s attacking, forget not shooting.
The CV loses the planes either way and this would get rid of scouts faster. Other
than this situation, people really should watch their fire.

And another thing, if BBs REALLY want FC, why shoot the planes? Really, why? You
ask for something and then shoot me for doing it? Would you guys like it if I
destroyed your guns so you couldn't shoot? Not too fun is it?

If my planes get hit by friendly AA trying to kill planes; Who cares, my fighters should
be over the enemy BB's.

That rarely happens because I lower my planes and actually control them.

When I play AA ship, I kill enemy planes. I do not fire at enemy planes unless they
are there circling enemy planes for 20/30 seconds. I will still attempt to avoid friendly
fire, however, I do sometimes kill planes.

On top of that, if I see friendly fighters getting killed by enemy fighters, i'll make the
choice to kill the enemy fighters.

Lets just say, I don't have the problem of making that choice when we have a skilled
CV player, as I end up just killing the odd scout that sneaks through.

Most bbs when they call for fighter cover really mean they want you to scout for them
since they lost all theirs in the first 2 minutes.

LOL its funny all these people in here saying that fighters shouldnt be circling over
friendly ships. Yet at the same time I get BB drivers crying today that they wanted me to
give them air cover. So what is it????

whoever let his fighters circle with enemy scout over his team ships must be prepared for getting his
fighters AAed with that scout

LEARN TO OPERATE YOUR PLANES and you wont have problems with friendly AA fire

you just really displayed your lack of CV knowledge in that response.. learning to
play
has nothing to do with your planes getting shot down.

when you launch your planes.. you have no clue who is going to randomly start
spamming your planes.. Nor do you know who is "good" or "bad" at aa and going to
kill everything that flies near.

Learn to play the CV.. indeed.

edit--and I punish AA'ers my own way.. I just stop launching planes.. I refuse to
waste my planes so some jackass can get his rosies off to shooting down my planes.

I'm old school.. I learned to shoot what I want and not spam everything.. if I shoot
down a friendly CV plane.. I say im sorry.. people these days are terrible players..
period.
