the key to winning a harbor assault, is winning the harbor assault.

original Farazelleth wanted to record the HA ORP vs GER from our (GER) side, but our HA
orga was against it.

Obviously it was because of the live-stream and our limited numbers against ORP - we had
just about 50 players in the HA.

Nevertheless we had much fun, after it was clear we can make it in time into the
harbortile we had a free for all. At least we took half of the tiles in all rows when the
time was over.

well in a harbor tile you are going up against mainly Nebraskas and kaisers with armor
you are only effective against half of the ships and if they are using AP (no one does)
you are not very effective at all with the lack of speed.

There is no skill involved in bb6 line fights.

Armor is the secret to the bb6s.

Kaiser: Bounces Kaiser and QV Shells
QV: Bounces Kaiser and QV Shells
Nebraska: Bounces Kaiser and QV Shells. (Thus the best bb6 choice).
Amagi: Can't bounce anything :(

Yes I play my bb6's set up for speed, not armor, but 95% of the ships in HA are armored.

The bb6's don't do enough damage to each other, to push a room fast enough anymore, and
with the ability to armor and basically nullify certain ships in a line battle it only
gets worse.

well I think what he is saying is that since each fleet has endless BB6s it comes down to
skill because the numbers is some cases are infinite. I lost 1 bb6 and still had 2 more to
use.

Current HAs: Winner is actually based on skill because both servers are full of
BB5s/6s. Having a fleet with a lot of capital ships doesn't matter nearly as much as it
did before. I very much do like this :D

I think you got this backwards.

Jedi used to take 30-40 up against 70+ from ORP and win (before the 35 ships per tile
cap). BB6's do not allow this to happen fast enough to guarantee a victory.

I haven't seen a HA in action in quite a while because back when I played heavily
Harbor Assault was still in beta and it was extremely buggy. This was years back
and I was suprised at how much things have changed.

Basic rundown on what I'm trying to say;

Old beta HAs: Won by whoevers fleet was bigger and had more capital ships.
Current HAs: Winner is actually based on skill because both servers are full of
