1) Does he/she have to have a good attitude?
-> Means nothing.
2) Exceptionally good playing skills in all bb5s?
-> Means nothing. There is no player who dominates all BB56s, there are however best individuals PER BB56.
3) Better than everyone in the game, but at just one bb5?
-> As Above.
4) Best Harbor Assault bb driver that everyone wants on their team?
-> HA and FL weighted equally. If you deliver in one, you must deliver in the other as well.
5) Best Fleet League bb driver that everyone wants on their team?
-> As Above.
6) Is the best player in bb rooms, period?
-> To be the best BB player, this is where you must dominate.
7) Able to play without zooming out?
-> Means nothing. If you do 600k, you do 600k, I don't care how you do it.
8) Can use all the nations of aa and hh on all their bbs effectively?
-> Means Nothing. The best BB player is someone who wins the game for you. If that is because they do 600k or because they kill every plane in sight, every contribution is valuable. (This is why you will never get a good answer to this. In HAs for Jedi I rack up a lot of good scores, but I dnt use my AA for example. Contributions will be viewed differently, as well as the weightings given to these contributions)
9) Takes the least amount of damage on average every game from his or her dodging ability?
-> Means Nothing.
10) is the best bb driver in GBs that everyone wants on their team?
-> Lol.
11) Has the best win percentage?
-> Win % is how big your **** is, not how useful it is.
12) Always able to beat high tier ships with lower tier bbs?
-> Debatable. I would rather see someone who is good in an equal tier doing 500k, than a lower tier doing 400k.
13) Is just hands down the best bb player?
-> This is pointless. There is no best BB player ever... So many players contribute in different ways, no-one truly excells.
14) Is an exceptionally good player with at level crews and ships?
-> Means Nothing. Most people have 120 crews, I play BB rooms with mine. Play what you feel most comfortable with. The better player is the player who wins, regardless of level (obviously don't take the mick with this statement).
15) Is an exceptionally good player with very minimal to 0 SD?
-> 600k attack is 600k attack, no matter how they do it.
16) Is able to run their bb extremely effectively without seeing their gun lines?
-> Means Nothing.
17) Is able to scout exceptionally well with all tiers and nations of scouts?
-> Means Nothing.
18) Plays exceptionally well with front gun only setups with no deck armor?
-> Means Nothing.
19) Plays with armor whored ships?
-> Means Nothing.
20) Never Plays with any deck armor?
-> Means Nothing.
21) Able to dodge torpedoes the best?
-> Means Nothing.
22) Able to play under the influence of drugs/alcohol exceptionally well where everyone wants him/her on their team?
-> Stupid comment.
23) Able to play for long hours (12+ hrs) and play exceptionally well the whole time?
-> Means Nothing.
24) Able to play with no sound at all?
-> As Above.
25) Able to play without using the "G" key?
-> As Above.
26) Able to forum troll part of the game while in battle?
-> Absolute Must.
28) In the Navyfield Hall of Fame?
-> Clearly Means Nothing.
29) Being an exceptionally good teamplayer in every part of the game in every game mode?
-> Debatable.
The important thing to distinguish here is where the BB player is being judged. In Individual BB Rooms or in Fleet Events.
These are two completely different things and give completely different answers.
The best Individual BB Room Player is the one with the most attack. End of Discussion.
The best Fleet Events BB Player is impossible to tell. I played in a HA in my QV where I did 616k attack, easily dominating everyone else on my team so surely by that logic I was the best player in that room. But then you watch it through and realise that I nearly died 3 times, and was saved by the same player each time rushing to protect me.
Now, Fleet Events are full of so many of these events it is impossible to judge the best BB players. Someone may kill the whole room, but only because of someone else's actions. As such, there are no great BB Team Players, only great Teams. Panda may be an integral part of the Regalia team, but what is to say he would be so in Jedi or ORP?
Attack in itself is ambiguous as well for Individual Play. My record stands at 619k, Panda at 702k and someone from MO did 720k I believe. But then you look at the players and the ships in that room. The player on MO played in a room with PBBs, BB123456s. The BB Rooms myself and Panda played in were 128 players with less than 30 non-BB6s. Does that make our records better? IMO it does.
Does Pandas extra 80k attack make him better than me, Yes. I am happy to boast 619k (and 616k in HA) as my top scores and I think that demonstrates that in at least one way (maybe not overall skill, maybe luck or maybe aggressiveness to the point of stupidity), (at some point) I was one of the best players in the game.
I don't truly think there is one best player even taking attack into account, when you get over a certain amount it is hard to distinguish but there are also players who played a while ago who dominated BB rooms every second of every day. Overall, you have your Pandas, your Ar2d2s, your AODs and various other players all who play subtlely differently. No-one can claim to be the best, the stats this game provides simply don't give enough of an indication.
All I will say is that I believe I have formed part of the best BB Team in this game at many points in my Jedi career. Call it arrogant, call it what you will but it is what I truly believe, and I dnt pretend that I was a major part of it.
