Ok, I have to say something here.
First off I was in the the most balanced room I have seen to date, 2 Z99s SWs on each team, 1 Sima gold bar on each team, 2 Mpro (one was me) on each team, an Atlanta and a Edin on each team. Couple of normal DDs on each side and tonage was almost dead on. In total we had 7 DDs and 4 CLs on both teams.
But guess what? Our team got the first crate and right away a couple of guys from the other team retreated. And then this guy starts cursing our team out calling it a AB game!
I HATE hosting OP Convoy games, they literaly bring out the worse in players that I have ever seen. Think about this, you enter a game, what side do you enter the room on? Thats right brainiacs, Alpha! So you have a few squadies that want to play some Navyfield together so they open a room up, probably talking to each other with a voice comm program and most the time they go over to Bravo to "form" up. The room is open and the lonewolves start coming into the game and they see some players on Bravo, now they can see perfectly that to balance the game they should stay on Alpha but no, looks like Bravo is stacked so where do they go? Thats right straight to bravo, now the next few come in and the host is trying to get some sort of balance going on but the new guys see Bravo way over powered so they start screaming STACK! AB! CHEATERS! and cause a few more players to leave Alpha.
Do you think the host stacked the room or all the players that joined and willingly jumped to the team to unbalance the room? I mean the host hasnt even closed the room but he is already being called a stacker.
You know something I would much rather host a All Welcome with 80 players in it then try and host a Op convoy with less then 20 in it. As a matter fact I am so fed up trying to deal with these jackasses that I actually opened and then later closed 3 rooms yesterday and told everyone to just leave!
One team is going to win and one team is going to loose, plain and simple and NO one wants to be on the loosing team. And everyone will go to all lengths to ensure they wont be and if they are it wasnt their fault. It was the stacker host as far as they are concerned. Of course it couldnt be the lamers that retreated at the first sign that other team might actually be competitive. Nah, better to blame a stack for your teams lameness.
You guys know the rules, there is no such thing as a stacked game as you dont have to TAB to start the game, by tabbing you are agreeing to the room balance. You want to talk about stacker hosts? Dont look at the games where everyone that tabbed in when the host press TAB. No look at the ones where the host BANS the other teams assets first and then he starts the game. Now that is a rigged game.
Hosts can't be responsible for AFK players or more commonly called "Leachers" nor can they be blamed for Navyfields constant bugs and crashes. All we can do is try and make the room balanced so that everyone agrees and press tab so we can start. You jerks that do nothing but point fingers while we are trying to balance the games are the ones that need to be removed from the game.
Only squad I have had a problem with is the Blue eye guys, you dont tab because they have all the assets and your team doesnt. They just ban you and start the game anyways. But I can honestly say I have never been in a stacked game with them yet as they always ban me for refusing to agree to the teams.
Why is it ok for players to retreat in the first round once the other team has scored once? Why are you not up these players asses? Man you are playing 5 rounds of 15 minutes and players bail because they percieve they are going to loose so why stick around? You sure wouldnt want to earn that XP would you? Nah go find a sure thing and hope its a golden one where you can get 20-40K of experience! I have seen players decide they are going to loose before anyone has even scored and retreated. I have also seen the team with SW advantage loose to a better gunship based team who simply just hold the crate spawn point through out the game. Sure the SW might have the advantage for the first crate score but he has 0 or little chance against a well armed opponent.
And I will say again, Op Convoy is broken and should be disabled until it is fixed, XP should be awarded first for amount of damage inflicted vs how much taken, secondly for crates rescued and last for winning the match and possibly each round a smaller bonus awarded. It should be that a close fought match should have XP awarded to both teams fairly evenly instead of this winner takes all crap we have.
