Well, since the old board's gone along with the model thread, I'm gonna start one here again. An excellent website for ship models is www.modelwarships.com and the forum there. My other, other, ship models are here: http://www.modelshipgallery.com/gallery/users/Timothy-Choi/user-index.html

Here's my Sovremenny Class Russian Guided-missile destroyer, in 1/350 scale, which took first place at the IPMS Vancouver model show under the Junior, Naval, catagory. Mine's the one at the very back:

Hey timmy here is a link for the rest of the model that I was working on that I posted in Greenglades forum. It is a scene from a civil war era shipyard on the north east cost of the US.

For you guys that dont know you can hit control+c to copy and then put in address bar to see image.

The ship and buildings still need textures though before it is done.

That is really cool dude, well done. ... I have an USS Arizona, USS Missouri models, I don't know their scales, and I have a RMS Titanic and RMS Lusitania models (also not sure of the scale) that i made a few years ago, when I had the time to make models....all 4 are in storage at the moment, until i graduate from University and start my career as history teacher, and get a house that is a little more permanent then the one I have now

How much did the kits for those ships cost. I love modelling, but I mainly build 1:144 or 1:97? scale planes from WWI/II.
