I just leveled my BO and purchased my O2. I did some tests with the Dual and triple 14.96"

Something is wrong here... very very very wrong. I was playing and testing range with a few people I know.

Did something change in the last patch?

I noticed that the Triples have the slightly lower range when compared to the 2nd set of 14.96" - which is understandable. Fair enough right?

Now I just finished testing the 11"L (2nd set), 2x14.96" L (2nd set lvl 82). Here is what I found.....

11" have a good centimeter on the Duals.....AFTER YOU FULLY ZOOM OUT!!!

Obst did range testing with screenshots and this isn't what the results showed. Was the 14.96" L range nuked recently in the last patch? Does team NF honestly expect KM players to use 11"Ls from level 63-92? What the heck is going on? Why was the range of the Dual/Triple 14.96" reduced? Why the hell did I even bother leveling up my BO?

A nelson with its death shot now has only this much | | less range than me now....

I cannot disgree more about "KM getting shafted in everyway". I really enjoyed playing with the KM BC and I think you will too. The simply fact is, the O2 and the bismarck are both worse than the ships that come before them. So why upgrade to the new ship class?

It is only a small issue in the pot that needs to be fixed. Some of the mods have already told me that they will be pushing for change with these two ships. As for the H39.... level 80-89 is how many million experience points? I don't think I will ever get there. Right now I think I will just learn to use the O2 and take all of the beatings along the way. For now that is all I can do ... its is either that or sell the O2 and lose 3 million credits which will surely hurt at some point in time.

Complain, complain. Carmelo won't be complaining after the H39, since he levels so fast, and grinds even though he still complains. But whats the point of NF after you get the best ship. Start another crew??? Oh no... -.-"

Sorry to hear that camelo. I agree that KM is shafted in every way, other than the Z99. Guess you are quitting NF soon?

But I must criticize you for not listening to other people's advice. I believe you were warned that the 14.96" has slightly less range than the triple 11". Why did you not listen back then? You could have saved a lot of grinding there. Or....are you a person who simply loves grinding? For me, I do a lot of planning and researching before I grind for a new ship or a new gun. It's important. Think before you do!

I guess you have the right to whine about the 14.96". But then...it's not like you don't know KM sucks in the first place. You chose to continue in a rip-off navy. Whine you can, but nothing you will get. TeamNF does not give a damn.

No armor, no firepower, no range too? Go figure.

8" Deck
11" shells w/ Range
Thin and Long

O Project 2: Level 80

DP 23,500

Speed (Slower than the nelson....)
4.2" Deck?????
14.96" shells w/ No range
Wide and Long

How is this an improvement besides the fact that you can now sink dd without crying?

NF only factors in historical accuracy when it hurts the KM, like those torps

In 'real history' german shells didn't do less than half the damage of british shells, nor was british armor the best in the world. This is just the sort of selective 'historical accuracy' at the expense of game balance that makes me angry. The british 4x guns were notoriously unreliable, yet in NF they're magically the most accurate guns in the game. Hooray!

In real History the KM 11" guns had a range of about 46000 m, the 14.96 about 40000. Unbelievable but true: NF tried to catch a piece reality!
