  • Soviet Navy Event Rules & FAQs

    03. 06. 2011 21:57

To provide information for the Soviet Navy, we have prepared the SN information
and event information on the website. The Soviet Navy event page can be found
at here: http://navyfield.com/event/20110310/main.asp

This thread contains (or will contain) detailed rules or FAQs for the upcoming event,
so please check this thread first before contacting the support team.

----------------
'NF Coupon' Event Details
(Purchase at NF store and get a NF Crystal!)

How to participate:
During the event period (10th March ~ 6th April), players will get 1 coupon for every purchase over $10. The more coupons you collect, the more chance you will have to win an NF Crystal! The winners will be announced one week after the event period is over.

The prizes are like below:
1st prize - NF Crystal (5 winners)
2nd prize - EBB3 (5 winners)
3rd prize - NF car decal (10 winners)

----------------
'Level up the Soviet Navy!' Event Rules:
-Players can request only 1 event, so if you meet the requirements for both events,
please choose one of them.
-The "Twin Sailor" can be requested if 6 of your Soviet sailors have reached Lv.90. The
twin sailor will have the same ability, same amount of veterans / experts, but will not be able eligible for trade. (The original sailor can be traded.)
-Bridge Operators and Gunners cannot be copied.
-Every player can only request for one twin sailor. (Even if you have 12 or 18 sailors level 90, you will only get one chance.)

* Accounts who abuse the event (ex. request the prize with traded sailors) will be locked after checking the logs.

----------------
Event FAQs
Q: Can I get more than one coupon if I purchase more than $10?
A: Yes, the coupon is for 'every' $10, so if you buy $50 for example, you will get 5
coupons in total. However, please be aware that the purchase amount is counted
after applying the discount rate.

Thanks,

Thanks for the new nation SDE.... BUT!

Way to fizzle out KM and basically make it useless..... Does this mean you guys will
remove some of the NERFS on KM ships?

Becase KM WILL need rebalancing with this release... in my opinion atleast..

i dont know if these CV things are broken, or what.

1) when are they going to nerf the MN DBs which have korean damage constants? or they dont
plan to do that at all? wont that be unfair to other nations whose DBs are not of korean
damage constants?

2) what is this KB bomb that does 17K damage? wth? doomsday?

3) other nation CVs: CV6 > PCV > CV5 // soviet: CV6 > CV5 > PCV

What happened to the website-update?

Its march now.

And no, I didnt write a support ticket because everyone deserves to know. And referring to the
fleetleader forum doesnt help me since I am not part of a fleet.

Actually the Iowa class were the best BB's. Most modern of all and had superior
firepower, speed and radar. The BIsmarck was built around 5 years or so earlier than
Iowa which is huge, esp. in times of war. Meanwhile, the Yamato while having bigger
guns was slower, had less superior armor and awful damage control compared to the
US. The US raw resources, security of mainland US, huge population, and good old
American inginuity helped them have superior ships.

The Bismarck was great, but lacked radar, was far outnumbered by allies, was harmed
by Hitler and his lack of aggression in naval warfare (he admitted he was a coward in
naval warfare), didn't have bases from when to operate from easily, didn't have air
cover/support, was build off of WW1 era ships (Baden class) which were for North Sea
fighting, and was build for commerce raiding, not slugging it out with other battle fleets.

There was no way the German fleet was going to be able to compete with the allies in
WW2 in the battle of the atlantic. KM = 2 BB, 2 BC, 3 PB, 3 CA 3? CL and 20-30 DD's
vs. UK = 17 BB, 3 BC, 5+ CV, probably 50+ CA/CL, and 100's of DDs plus bases all
around the Atlantic.
