Had HUGE lag and crashes after patch, problem was my firewall. Don't know if its patch related or if a
patch can touch your firewall settings?

Before SN - fine, no lag whatsoever. After SN - well, the other day I spent about 98% of
the game lagged out. (Not complaining. I got 33k xp for free - but it's not like it's fair or
anything.) Lag is a srs bsns problem. That said I think it is something in my system as
opposed to the servers. Maybe it's time to re-dl after all...

Been having bad lag since last update.
Well actually this is a new "clean" install.....of nf
Found that nf is now using 1.6gb memory to run.
o.O

used to be 822mb....

No I am having excessive pagging....causing lag.

WTH??

Why is nf now using double memory???

Ok I checked my spr folder and the size has increased with the new SN rollout.
How does NF Load the sprites...are they pre-chached...?
This would result in more memory being used...........

No lagg here and I'm from Europe. It must be your PC/ISP.

Now I have serious lag problem which I didn't have a two weeks ago.

Nice GM, always blame the players themselves whenever a problem occurs.

Maybe not experienced by everyone, but many now have lag issues they didn' had
before SN got introduced. I started playing this weekend and I can tell you if even in
a blitz (where you have way less airplanes and aa ships) you get lag spikes
something has changed again. I only get lag spikes and not screen freezes like
some do but it ahs gotten worse. There have been enough situations where you
launch a patch, it gets all laggy and it dissappears with the next patch. My PC or
internet connection doesn't change as fast as you update this game with (fail)
patches. What info do you need?

I talked to several guys yesterday about it and they all have way more lag after the
SN got on NF. I'm not sure this is the reason but these guys are all from Europe, incl
me. So ppl that havent had any lag before SN and now do plz thell me your location.

Besides the memeroy usage of this game is a joke, I play for more advanced games
that need less memory then this game. But offcourse these games got developed by
real game developers. This game has so many memory leaks I wonder it's getting
unfixable. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memory_leak

I appreciate you getting to the bottom of this, and finally do something about these
memory leaks. Cus if NF uses as much memory as total war: napoleon with that old
rusty bucket of a game engine it's starting to become the best IT joke ever.

Sorry, you'll have to give back some of those S's. There aren't enough for everyone to go
around. :)

The lag you're posting about is not being experienced by all. It may be a game related
issue, but it may be a net connection related issue also. Hard to discern 100%. Please
provide further information.
