The US attacked Libya with SS5's and SS6's today

deleting dumb players, mostly MO ones from NF would work just as good as adding SS5s...

i have played both

they both have their requirements of skill

bb drivers complain about subdrivers and say how they are too overpowered and it
takes no skill or that the damage they can do is too big for what level they are ect
ect..

my personal gripe about subs is the splash damage done by torps that have no
chance to hit or have missed you...if i dodge your stuff that should be the end of
it .....why reward somone for NOT hitting what their aiming at

(solution to that is give them 100% strike rate for their torpedos (no duds)and nerf
splash damage from ss torpedos to 15% of what it is now and reduce the area of
the km proxy torps by 60%)



sub drivers complain about dud rates and nerfed exp and such

and these are VALID gripes as well as how their high level crews dont have high
level ships to go on

i mean seriously ...even without the exp nerf on torpedo dmg you ever tried to level
a leven 105 110 salior on a level 70 somthing ship?

i say YES give them SS5 and 6 ...hell give them a PSS...leave the divetimes pretty
much the same but make more room for bigger crewmembers ...maybe a few more
torpedos in the ammo lockers ...better turning and quicker dive control to make them
preform a little better without hugely overpowering them

i personally love what SS has done to the game by being in a class all their own and
forcing people to accually be aware of whats around them instead of just zombified
linefighting

Add to that: control scout; make sure you aren't crossing/being crossed; watching for a
rush; checking for scouts, bombers, and AAing; tracking subs etc.

for back to the topic:

Since the real IJN back in WWII build some submarine aircraft carriers
(https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Submarine_aircraft_carriers_of_Japan)
wouldn't be so far from mind to get some airspace for a scout or something else in the SS5/6

Also the NF IJN is known for....unconventional... setups (like Ise CV) wouldn't surprise
me to find something like that for the IJN.

Cv play is boring to me, really boring, even with dbs it still boring to me...same with
ss, i have a km ss2 somewhere in the hq and not planning to taking it out anytime
soon...but bb, lets say km bb, wow that is a real challenge and not only to me....just
imagine having to stay away, trying to actually do some dmg, AAing enemy dbs, running away
from enemy ss...all at once!!! hell km bb play is a real challenge, everyone who has
played a km bb knows that im telling the truth.....

BB and SS are about equally easy ships to play. If you want a ship that requires more
skill than either, stick with an ASW DD or a CV. Controlling 4-5 groups of planes at once,
dodging flak and making sure your ship doesnt venture too far to the border or front line
is quite a handful.

By the way, I am a driver of KM SS4, KM CV4 and KM BB2/PBB and even APA. I've played them
all and CV is the most challenging to play right

subs i love but sadly subs are like my ding a ling no 1 wants to play with it
