The Q is fun but UK DDs are pretty poor overall IMO. None of their guns really wow me and
they dont have even one DD that stands out.

I would say overall USN DDs Tier for Tier are the best in terms of gunships. Single 6"
Fletcher is a beast of a DD1. The Timmerman remod of the Gearing would be the best hands
down if you could fit a fat crew on it. IJN does get the Tsukikei and Sima but its safe to
say not all of their DDs perform as good as their DD3s.

The pre-nerf Q-class from beta...

-30% armor weight

That thing was evil...

Still, now the best DD would have to be:

7" DD-X
My Z99
5.5" Tsukikkei

the Q is ok fun little ship, but the DDx overall is better with the 7's

I LOVE the single 7 DDX but the Tsukikei in the right hands can be a real thorn in the balls.

have like a 2 second reload and you have more guns then torpedeos "

Sima can launch 9 18k torpedoes at once. The best setup is the 60 knot 12k damage
torpedoes though. You will be hard pressed to get close enough to a DDx or Z99 to use them
effectively though.

Over all the best is the simakazi, torps do more damage per minute than guns.

One of the new soviet DD's has a couple aft facing T slots. It's a great DD for ASW. But
for DD vs DD it's either Z99 or DDX.
