It is somehow ironic posting this with the current thread regarding HH in blitz.
Oh well, couldn't resist and for having nothing to do this weekend.

It last 7 minutes, so keep it for another time if you don't have that much time left.

Oh yea, no need to comment how GB's becoming a joke now. It's such a mess with the merge.

Lionel, when people get in an AA ship their intent is to help the team shooting down
planes and scouts, for that they usually set their guns with only AA Shells so they don't
loose a target for lack of shells... if they put HE shells they loose space for AA. Also,
some very good AA guns don't have HE Shells.

How would you expect the AA Ship to help in a case like that? It's almost impossible. It's
not their fault a ship passed the line and once it got close they have nothing to do bout
it. It's not fair that AA ships get the penalty when someone else failed to shoot a small
ship because they wanted to get the bigger target.

LOL you are pretty good, but I don't think you were going to sink them with 3 shots! Also,
I edited my post. I forgot to add that I don't think that the AA should be nerfed. I think
that the AA should be nerfed if you lose.

I forget to add that the nebraska was armoured, the yamato was armoured, the montana was
armoured, the pow was armoured.

Basically, I was naughty and act as "armour rapist" ;)

I wonder if I could sink those bb in 3 shots :o

Regarding experts AA nerf, it was decided by the GM's because they believe mission room
was filled with exploiter and bot, which was occuring on an epic rare rate. Sp they remove
the experts on mission, and increase on battle room, which leads to why people are just
not giving a dam sometime.

Ok, I admit, I learned a few things out of this. First, most of my arguments were based on
my own expereinces with HH. Watching Rich, I realized that higher level gunners were
firing not only a tighter salvo, but WAY faster than mine. That made a huge difference, as
I feel that the long reload time is really what balances out HH and makes rapid fire but
smaller caliber guns on small ships a choice worth considering. The fast reload really
made it WAY out of balance. I can see why Rich feels so strongly about the over powered HH.

Secondly, something I noticed was the other players answer to the attacks, or rather the
lack of an answer. The lower tier BBs (1,2,3,PBB) couldn't get a hit and succumed to
several volleys of HH. But the larger BBs simply one shotted. I thought a lot about that
and realized that for the most part, unless you are pretty darn good with manual, the
blitz players are using auto click and shoot. Those, the lower BBs probably are still in
the learning stage of shooting and couldn't compensate quick enough to shoot and hit. It
would have taken several volleys that they never would get a chance to fire. This video
shows what the players have been stating for quite some time: shared xp is indeed
contributing to a lack of skilled play!

Its not just bad shooting either, but also selfishness and terrible ship handling. To a
degree, I can understand a CV getting blasted. They are monitoring planes on the other
side of the map and at times mess up. This was astounding. One CV just about drove into
him while blasting another CV. Can't you hear "enemy ship in sight" or look over at you
map and see a red dot on you! Worse yet is the selfish nature of players. While rich was
systematically destroying a ship with FOUR salvos, two AA ships were blasting at planes
ignoring him. They had to have seen it happen, as they were AAing planes right above the
enemy ship! That is just outright disgusting. Obviously, the intent of those 2 ships was
AA and only AA. They don't care if they win or lose the battle.

I would suggest two changes: First, increase the reload time by 50%. This would make it
easier to defend against the HH only attack as it would give the defender more time to
shoot. I would not change the range, as if it got shorter, it would cause a lack of
balance for SS torpedos. I would not change the damage for the same reason (SS torpedo
damage is high).

The second suggestion that I would make is that for teams losing a battle, I would nerf
their expert gain for AA if your team loses. This would inspire AA ships to be team
players and to help win
the battle as opposed to not giving a s--- about what happens.

I use fraps.

It does lag but not that much. The frame rates drop like only 2 or 3 max, since I have a
crappy PC (2gb ram).

It becomes very smoothly however, if you record and save the file in an external hard
drive, using the same PC. In the video, I have recorded through external and main HDD.
You can notice sometime when it slightly lag or smooth.

Things I never figured out why.

What did you use to record and did it lag your computer while recording?
