My sincere condolences be with her family and friends.

The online world is a rather cynical place and I can see where LJ is coming from with
that statement. In an online world, it is hard to disseminate information whether they
be factual or fake and thats why we develop a certain skepticism towards any news
online unless there is some form of source or proof. Perhaps one can view it as
mechanism to separate real life and "online life".

Regardless, I personally put a more humanist approach in regards to news such as
these before I start calling it into question. If it is fake, appropriate authorities can take
care of it.

Once again, my sincere condolences to Mary's friends and family

Lukas, assume that the sad news is true. If somebody stooped this low to get attention,
they will be judged by a higher authority one day.

Vdub, as much as I know you love me and love to reporta and stalk me, stay on topic please.

If indeed Mary has died, then my condolences, but there have been so many attempts of
people like yourself Vdub messing with the community in various ways (such as linking to
porn sites, faking an illness/death) etc... that means I rarely believe what people say about
RL on these forums. And it is a pity that it has got to this stage.

The top line is RIP.

Not really a good way to get noticed lj... perhaps maybe you spend too much time on this
forum you have lost touch with humanity.

Unfortunately, until I see something official, I won't believe facebook or forums. Too many
people have done it to gain attention. Just look at the whole Simonpetit incident.

im not sure if it was on the newspaper, severn... but i have her on my fb and i have
talked to her brother as well... anyhow, it was an extremely painful thing to hear an old
friend passing away that young.. when she had so many years to look forward to...
