Greetings,


If your a room host/master then learn the way the game does the autosplit.....

#1 Auto balance always begins with Alpha then Bravo then Alpha then Bravo, ect.

#2 Each class type is seperated and then balanced according to highest lvl BO

#3 Highest lvl BO goes to Alpha, 2nd highest to Bravo, 3rd highest to Alpha, 4th
highest to bravo and so on.. Alpha always has BO advantage...

What does this mean to room host... It only matters with cvs until further changes
are made with game modes....

if you have 4 cvs.. and 3 of them are higher lvl.. you will always get an unbalanced
cv split...

If you have 5 cvs.. and 3 of them are higher lvl you will always get an unbalanced
split..

If you have 5 cvs.. and 2 of them are lvl 100+ and the rest are lower lvl.. then you
can split and go because the two highest lvl cvs will be the alpha/bravo... lower lvl
cvs have little impact on game...

Apply this rule to anything you want... test it.. its always the same

For some reason the autobalancer sometimes runs into problems when balancing
with PCVs. I have seen the weirdest splid happen...

What about games that split 5cv vs 3cvs or 3cv vs 1cv. The split is more complicated than
first look.

I think I have seen a blitz split 1bb 0cv on alpha and 2cv no bb on bravo but I may be
making that up.

Games in NF will ALWAYS be unbalance, even you have 2 Teams exactly the same
with all lvl 120 crews, why? cus in NF and Every Team-based MMO Games, Skills >
Tools.

Interesting..We've never had enough CV6s in a GB2 on kaiser (at least consistently)
to get that kind of info.

Also it should be noted that if there are 3 CV6s then bravo gets 2 alpha gets one. Meaning
3 cv6 3 BB6 gb gives bravo 2 of each. I suspected thats how it worked but I didnt want to
bring it up without knowing for sure.

Last battle: 2 Midway, 1 Degrass 1 Hindenburg, My GZ2, 1 Seyd.

Bravo: Me and 2 Midways (1 ended up crashing) v Degrass, Hindenburg, Seyd

Your right about me thinking that all CV5s where same lvl at 103...that certianly
throws a wrench into the coding the autosplit....

Thank you Alex... that has been a very helpful response... Now were all starting to
connect the dots. Now lets continue and make this official so we can all logically
think through this and make final recommendations to SDE to recode the autosplit,
and/or for consideration for the next battle room type....

Whomever posted BBs being : ABBABAB... and CVs being: BAABAB... was correct in
MY *opinion*. Also in my opinion, I believe elliot was correct in that the game
balances BBs (or at least the BB6s) by range as can be seen when you get any
combination of the normal splits. Ex1: Kaiser (A) vs Nebby (B). Ex2: Nebby (A) vs
QVx2 (B). Ex3: QV(A) vs Charlemagne (B). This at least holds true for the first pass
and in my opinion seems to be the most logical takeaway. This theory is of course
much harder to test at the BB5 and below level as the number of ships you have to
take into account is usually 18 or 19 in a room. With the 4 BB6 limit in any battle
room, it's much easier to test your theory at that tier.

All this being said, I'll state for a (insert # here) time, this is not an official stance.
This is what I have noticed in my years of play and has always been correct.

You do realize that not all CV5s are the same level, right?

As for my looking at the balance:
First game today (with you in the room) -
Bravo - 120 Arromanches, 1GB GZ
Alpha - 100+ Lexington, 4GB Seydlitz

You thought the balance was wrong until I informed you that the Arromanches was
the MN CV5 at the same level as Lexington

Second game today -
Bravo - De Grasse, Midway , 1GB GZ
Alpha - De Grasse, 120 PCV, 4 silver US CV1

I'm just throwing this out there, but something tells me you don't know the exact
ship levels when you are doing your split testing.

The CV5 lvls, unlike BB5 lvls, vary greatly.

E.g. Shokagu is lvl 95 and Malta Project is lvl 98.

Same for CV4 and PCV only CV6 have the same lvl.
