I still get a kick out of the people who fail at English and say a SS instead of an SS and
get filtered because the filter thinks they're talking about a donkey. I heard Popye call
Bluto an Edit in a cartoon when I was like 7. I'd say it screwed up my sense of what is
profane and what isn't, but the filter would say it *&!%#ed it up.

Aren't you supposed to be 18+ or have your parent's permission to play this game?
Can't we be allowed to turn the filter off? I'm not trying to bitch here, or should I say
&$^@! but I'm really tired of having "hey *&" show up when I say hi to bjmcbride when
he logs on in fleet chat.

Pretty sure Edit is filtered out too.

So, a line like "You stupid Edit"

Turns into

"You stupid %^$#&"

Looks much worse, as the word for a female dog shares the filter spot.

So basically

"Edit" - filtered
"Edit" - not filtered

??

I agree with SpectreHD.

When I say "Edit", the filter makes it comes out as "$(%! it" which looks, if anything,
worse.

Also weirdly, for a game of naval simulation, the word "screw" seems to have been
censored, despite being a known synonym for propeller.

Oddly enough, with all my ranting, I've never seen it.

I thought I had heard something about this before but couldn't remember for sure.
