Unfortunately for those with an iPhone, Apple's restrictive nature when it comes to iOS prevents Chrome from being the browser it should be. It's actually significantly slower than MobileSafari on iOS.

That being said, you can still sync tabs between your desktop and mobile browser, which is pretty cool. Favorites sync as well (at least they do on Android 4.0).
Chrome recently did become the world's most popular browser though. With over 300 million installations, it is now more popular than Internet Explorer (about time, right?). I expect this number will only continue to grow as more devices on Android ship with 4.0 or 4.1. The release of Chrome on iOS should also help expand this.
