  • Cannot find application exe file

Im having this error after clicking "play game" in the launcher. I reinstalled multiple times, cleaned out my registry too. I am running Windows 10, it used to work the last time i was playing, probably a few months ago. Tried the Windows XP update just cause, and it loads in if i used compatibility mode but game play is unplayable.
Thanks for any help.

It's your anti-virus.
Try making an exception for it, or disable when you're playing the game.

Thats what i thought too, but i have disabled all the antivirus and it has the same error. Reinstalled NF like 5 times, cleaned the registry, etc.

I found the problem btw for anyone else that is having it. I needed to install Microsoft Visual C++ 9.0.21022.8. Check the event log because thats how i finally found the problem.
