Im not sure but I think most of the time like 110-140 is considered good for GUNNERS, not sure about much else, for BO is when your aiming lines get longer than your range

Overvetting is the act of having shitload of vets.


When it happens, never, unless you make it happening by burning thousands of experts and hopring to get vets.

its done by event whoring.

Basically makes at level BBs much more pleasant.

Needed to hit the rep cap on any other nation than UK (or to hit it with less than 4 rep with UK)

Gives crapload of OH time when done with engies. Speedcaps at level.


With the Winter event a few years back, i got my IJN crew to 170 vets on the engies, 140 on the reps.

With the independence day boost (event over the event) I got those the engies to 200 vets, the reps to 170, and finally gave a few vets on my lvl 120 US crew.

(reps went from 120-150, engies 110-150).

That was with 40$ of expert, and maybe 2-3 won pack.

Add about 40$ in such event to get them from 0-109 (much cheaper in those to roll with xpert than vets with vets pack).

Above 200, calculate about 100-120$ to get them all to 250.

I always thought of overvetting as putting more vets on a sailor than are required to reach the cap for the target ability. eg putting 160 vets on elite torpers.

I put 200 vets on each of my US Fighters cost me about $20 per sailor but im smart and do it on events. Fighters dont have a ability cap thats why I cap out vets instead.

I put 200 vets on my 120 radio man, helps alot.
