  • Nice to see some things never change no matter how little sense it makes.

Nice to see some of the mods are still flexing their authority on this forums. We are here to talk about what is probably NF's first real rival since NF's development. This is the first game that has really encroach into a part of online gaming
which NF being the sole ruler of.

But if the mods do not see how grave this news is, then maybe SDEnternet should not care as well. This may be truly be the death knell to NF. But what do I know.

Anyways, lets see how much longer the power of the mods here will hold any sort of weight. Carry on.

See, they don't care at this point... There has been no indication that improvements or worthwhile additional content will be added to this game. The current game installer is barely functional and I absolutely refuse to spend anymore time trying to do so with the worthless workaround they have posted elsewhere. NavyFail, lol!

Competition? I predict this game to have the same arcade style that Battlestations Midway which kept me playing for about 2 hours. If WoT is anything to go buy, you need a subscription to be competitive. Battlestations for £10 a month? I'd rather jump into a DD and be one shotted every single GB2.

In response to a mod's post and closing of a previous thread concerning this topic, and who apparently has no clue how WoT operates...lower tier tanks need to make a difference in a game or else they lose purpose and therefore playability is lowered. In reality, lower tiered or smaller vessels, especially a group of them...well...draw your own conclusions if you can, but your own opinion is completely invalid and not based on fact at all.

Oh, and thanks for closing my thread as well... NavyFail censorship at it's best. Don't worry, when the time comes everyone will know and will abandon ship for the better supported game. Yeah, at this point I'm trolling but the Dev team/Company is lame, lol.

Ostrich-head-in-sand syndrome. If we hush it up, it won't be a problem.
Not that dissimilar to the politicians in my country.

On that game itself, if it is similar concept to NF in terms of historical accuracy, open-endedness, customizability and comprehensive ship line up, but with better playability, then I wouldn't hesitate to jump ship in an instant.

Heck, I'm already counting down my days on here. An MMORPG about ** transforming robots **, tying in with the very popular movie, cartoon and toy franchise is set for release in mid 2012. Graphics look excellent, and best yet, one supposedly can create their own robot characters.

That's a subject matter I'm hugely interested in, and will be quitting NF once that comes online.

That's too bad. Seeing how tank warfare and design change in the years is as interesting as seeing warships design change from WW1 to WW2. Oh, ostriches do not really bury their heads in the ground but I know what you mean.

Besides the warships part, I'm also rather interested in the warplanes version of that game.
Just went to their site to check out the screenshots of the latter, and I'm pretty sure I will be playing both of those games.

If what they claim about the warship game is true, then you're right Spec, there will be a huge impact.
Whether or not it's a death knell remains to be seen, but I guess many of the playerbase will jump over.

*edit*

The huge slice of irony, no sooner had I talked about better playability in my earlier post, I crashed out of NF while trying to join a room and had to reboot my PC.

The rules on talking about other games or sites have been the same and should be enforced to
all posters. It does not matter what the game is or if its an active or just a planned game.

So, no, nothing has changed and your expectation that it would change is ....
