I haven't played NF much in a long time. Mainly because my health was bad for a long time and currently because I can never get it to work on my new comps for longer then a week or so at a time.
But I had noticed all the server shuffling and I was wondering how healthy the game was currently in your opinions.

How's the balance, new stuff, population growth or decline etc.

Population dropped awhile ago thanks to hackshield, as for balancing testing is back to public with mailman leading it and angus screwing it over from time to time. Dont know how long youve been gone, but MN (frenchies) and SN (russians) are out, both of which were OP for awhile til said test team made changes.

I believe that navy field still offers a very different style of navy ship battle gaming, I am starting to fear that the game is loosing population. I don't know about Kaiser but on Nebraska things seem to have slowed down a lot. Now, I am by no means trying to suggest the game is dying off or any thing negative of that nature. After having played for 6 years, I know that the game goes through cycles of high activity and low activity. This seems to be a cycle of low activity. Undoubtedly it will bounce back.

I'd say the drop is the usual summer holiday drop you see in every game. Should see a lot more people playing again come September (providing a patch before doesn't totally ruin it :P)

I would say NF is still in decent shape at the moment. Nothing too spectacular nor too bad, it's ok.
