74 hours and 2 sleepless nights later i accessed 'the game'...i will not even hazard a guess as to how many deletion/reinstalls i did.

note that sde and its employees offered not one bit of assistance verbal, written or otherwise.

ohh yah, i also restored my pc THREE times during this ordeal.

has anyone else noticed 107 files with 0 kb EACh loading during their enfuns update?? 

and that was on the update that eventually worked and got me in!

if any other XP persons cannot get past the 3-screen load part(spinning wheel at bottom), message me and i will attempt to detail the path i just took. 

my gawdz, getting hooked on heroin must be a breeze to navyfield addiction!!!

maybe techdome is sick of the every-patch-procedure that for (some?) xp users the game doesnt work?

always have to download xp support-pack and install in navyfield folder.

ok, that worked for some weeks fine. no bigger problem, we got used to it ;-)

there was a clear vote for further support of xp - see poll ...

last week disaster, this week again.

for me:

freezing in starting picture "fighters" after xp- support pack

ok, deinstall/reinstall vredist ... helps sometimes

oh, login possible...see harbor...disconnected from server...next try...hacking attempt...login screen.

ok, lets uninstall/clean registry/install complete new

hey...*hmpf*...disconnected...once more...hacking attempt...navyfield.exe crash

ok, lets deinstall/reinstall that c** lib (vredist) again!

again download client today? hmmm....maybe it helps like last week...hmmm...time ois money...

new client, xp support pack etc -> get into harbor, after few seconds

sorry, but we need a patch for the patch
 when you are "sucessful disconnected from server" in main screen "cancel" instead to "join" 
and manual patch "NavyField_Patch.exe" is write in 32Bit but no execute nothing

to be honest:

i dont have any lags since may - for 99.99% of the battles i played.

thats the positive.( i have a 10K connection and "old" xp laptop)

but the crashes are as ever been before...i see no progress with all that patches.

severel fleetmates use win//8/10 - some have big problems - some none.  nothing changed at all !!!

for what that hokuspokus then???

still cant play...maybe invest the time of the devs to this issue instead of some MVP-bullshit no-one really needs ?!?!
