I was hit by a win10 update this morning and afterwards I experienced the spinning forever wheel. However I hadn't spun for a day or 2 so the update might not be related.
I did refresh the page and it showed my spin being done, but the prize info was missing. I was able to determine it was a elite fighter on the payment history page.
(hours later edit) Recent spin did stop and a prize box appeared as normal.
