  • Rescue the game 3... really ?

Makes me laugh why So many wished for the game to gain new players via steam release or advertising and want development   i.e New Nations / Ships / Game modes ....

Well Thankyou GM,s for trying to gain new players /population within the game With the steam release , Ashame so many veteran
players / fleets  did nothing to help ....

My thoughts about Steam release and other issues^^

For a week or two after the steam release all was good , more rooms and more players and they enjoyed the game , Then they had reached GB lvl and  like lambs to the  slaughter they entered GB rooms , BB6.s every where , praying on our new hope of saving the game .... Its always they same players that show how good they are @ sinking a BB1 with an over vetted BB6...  WOW they must be good , but when they are the only BB6 left within the game who they going to sink then ????

Development costs money and without the new players that the steam release had  brought to the game this is hard , Has so many veteran players have completed all ship lines and need not buy premium any more , funds must be short to make any major Development changes within the game ....

There was no shame in sailing a BB3/4 every now and again maybe even a BB1 and letting the new players enjoy the game , So please please Dont blame anyone apart for  ourselfs in the downfall in the game,s population ....

So next time you join a GB room look around and see who,s killing the game ....

These are my thoughts only and not fleet related

Thankyou

That is it the one kind of fail players they smoke with a big Battleship (BB) against smaller kind of ships and feeling they are good players .

I see much of players mostly from one Fleet driving Big Ships in North and only smoking
too kill smaller ships   .

But when anyone else is using a a bigger then a T4 ship there the same fools are crying when the sunk by this .

and this is a big problem nothing else

when all people does the gentlemen agreement all under T5 driving north
then no problem i think .

and now think about this when you  doing mimimimi and look at your own noose

Well said nipper2271.

The less admins do to support progressing players, the more players themselves will have to care about this. If they care at all, that is. Some people do care, this can be seen at the forum or in game at times. If this is enough - only the activity of progressing players can show.

I think BB-6 themselves are no problem here. Sometimes players, for whatever reason, give low-level allies\enemies nice chances even using a BB-6. Problem lies in using every kind of ship in a way that makes it hard for low-levelers to compete. CVs with A and B, SSs, even CAs with prem-HH, all can choose a "newb" as easy kill, much more easy kill than anything else. That would mean "newbs" die first, without much possibility to make damage to earn some exp, creds, and, most important I think, experts for their growing crew. If they at least die last that helps already. They also can't just hide somewhere, because every ship is supposed to contribute, and players are supposed to learn. And anyway, no one could organize "newbs" to do so, if even the existing fleets, with their ability for organization, would not organize some "newbie-friendly" environment. Well, maybe for a day as a flash-mob event :)

It's very hard to apply any form of imaginary all-players-policy in such games. If players even break official rules every now and then, how would they follow any unofficial ones...

These days, especially after the trade was cancelled, fleets do their best to support the rarely coming or returning veterans by sharing accounts to them for HA\HD. Or at least I suppose they do. Like it or not, it increases the number of players online for certain periods of time. Maybe gives some revenue for game owners. Better than nothing...as good and as bad as that.

One more thing here, look at what Liming and the team of CHNB and Viva La Mexico are doing now. The tournament for BB-6 players that involves maybe a hundred people, several months of training, discussing and gaming activities, olive prizes. And hopefully will be more than well rewarded by GMs, if not respected by all. Some media cover would be nice too, maybe, if spectators are not welcome due to possible spy activity or just personal hatred...Now, someone could also organize an event not for veterans, but for beginners. Or veterans, playing beginners accs, no way to verify that...Anyway, one can check how many battles are played with the participant's account. Appoint  lesser prizes, still significant for beginners. That event could be exploited by veterans, I guess, but so can be many other events.

Sadly it all depends on players' goodwill these days.

Will maybe anyone be so kind and make translations of topics like this for Latino, Chinese and other non-english-speakers.

------------
Also, trade system must be restored.

Get off your high horse those veteran players you so speak of are the only things keeping this game alive through donations made in exchange for experts, vets and even bb7/cv7s. Did you really think the steam release helped? or were a majority of those players returning players who know what bullshit Navyfield is? and see that LITERALLY nothing has changed since their absence. If you ask me the only thing killing this game is the same complete lack of respect from the developers/mods towards the player base. Every single time they implement something without COMMUNICATING to the player base they are digging this game into a deeper hole.

Lets see this track record of success

-Hackshield

-Make changes no player wants

-Delete forum posts asking why

-Ignore actual suggestions posted right here in these forums

I am sure the list can go on and on however i choose to not waste anymore time and go play something where i am not just an ATM.

Regards

Night

[QUOTE = Nightmare29]

Don't be a shill for the GM and any other developer that worked on this game. While its true that some high level players hunt down low level ships a lot, the entire downfall of NF is the GM and the company that owns Navyfield, whether it be SDE or whoever owns it nows fault. We gave them plenty of feedback, bringing back trade had over 200+ votes, meaning 200+ players that wanted it back. But did nothing. We gave them plenty of chances for compromise, they don't listen. We might as well be talking to a dead cat, because it doesn't matter either way. No one's going to listen.

Lets just speak LOGIC LANGUAGE
What makes this game fall down aint the players who hunt down newbs
Its the stupid idea of removing TRADE SYSTEM.
When there was a chance to get help from fleet mates or strangers with buying premium/experts/boosts/vets/smooks with credits there was a good chance to enjoy the game.
AND THE FUNDS WERE GOOD .. buying with credits makes some one else pay in $$

NOW THIS ALL NOT THERE ..

ADD .. The players who like to use BB6+ in room of newbs just to feel good killing them all within the battle starts !
A player with 125 bb7 with full BVE can easly make a lv120 BB5  with VETS less than 100 and tons of wheigt on his crew looks like a newbiy !

ADD .. CVs with AA or HH .. man cv should not have any thing but aircrafts, let a newbie do AA to gain exp .. let the BB be the shield of that CV .. let the damn cvs return to support the BBs and it was always.

TRADE SYSTEM MUST BE BACK.

or else enjoy your long damn walk looking for some where else to work in than SDE which will get 0$ soon if they keept to work like this.
