I highly doubt this, Even back when NF had 4 Servers up, max occupancy was probably 1000 people per server (estimate.) Back then I remember not being able to log in because of server overload during events, but I don't think NF has even come close to having 250k players. I don't even think 250k people have heard of this game.

1k is too little. Even for a single server. That's 4 full fleets (260 accs each).
I would say about max 10-15k a year.
Maybe around 30-50k for the whole time (including archived accs)

Regardless  then do not know how to run a game. They do not know what customer service is. They have no clue and do the opposite of what the game needs in most cases.

The post beta to 2012 ish server soft limit was about 1200 later this was reduced to about 800.
I had some discussions with Yuno back then and it was some issue with the SQL DB structure/design and game engine interface that SDE were using.
