Well, since some players still don't know those tearms, I'll elaborate:

AB involves players on different sides agreeing to let each other do things such that both get benefits. The classic example is two players taking turns shooting each other and repairing to raise attack for both, but it also includes such things as agreeing not to shoot each other, not intercept each others' bombers, and a range of other similar activities that help the offending players, often at the expense of their teams.

Ghosting involves players on one team privately (message, fleet chat, discord/teamspeak, etc) telling friends on the other side about the actions and disposition of their own team, including things like location of unscouted ships (ie: CVS), subs, ships under smoke, and so on. The term comes from the fact that the offending player usually suicides or otherwise sinks early, and stays in the room just to do this.

Don't forget the classic Sub tactic of AB'ing.

Side A Subs go North, Side B Subs go South.

One of our more prestigious sub captians think its a valid tactic, but he never was confused for an intelligent player.

hmmmmmmmm hence all the suicidal cvs from bunnys and others some just sit there others run into bb fire and as far as ss go you're right but thats another game that's easy to decipher if u have sonar and hh not that big a problem... and let me add if you have a clue

and oh yes there is ghosting obviously from some that are blatant to others not so but it is obvious to those that play every day not to gms that show up once in a blue moon and i'm being generous about that

You cannot expect all ss to rush to each other at the start of the game.  If I am in a non-KM ss4, I will not rush in to fight a KM ss6 head on.  It is better to either defend (which usually resulting in my ss being sunk by friendly hh or getting no attack because the enemy ss was killed with the help of my sonar) or I can go to a different area to avoid a head on confrontation.  Do not tell me that this is AB'ing.  This is the same as low lvl fgt avoiding the high level enemy fgt to scout for the team.  It always depends on the situation: e.g., are there dd and escort in the friendly bb line, what are the enemy ss, are there sonar in enemy bb line.  I do not see that this is any less intelligent. . . (even from my mouth = not a prestigious player).

Also, you cannot blame the ss players.  There is little exp in ss vs. ss battle.  The game will need to increase the exp for damaging ss due to the reduced tonnage.  This will also help to discourage TK'ing ss (basically there is no or little penalty also due to the tonnage).

teamkill-something you want to do sometimes but you know it has severe penalties so you avoid it.  occasionally it happens anyway, accidentally, and an apology is in order IF you are aware of it.

ABing well detailed on this topic.

ghosting well explained.  i was unsure about some things i'xe observed. thx

the ss thing:  i would estimate that 7 of 10 subbers use KM subs.  6 of those have that fantasy OP km ff sub  tier 6.  i won't belabor the fallacy of its abilities or ridiculous defense capabilities, but i will say i will avoid any km sub if possible, and most other subs when i can.
this is a pure battle tactic and aiding me first, then by happenstance might help another subber, unless they are doing the ff thing. or any sob or subber in any way.  and for the ff subbers that act as hh spotters...try subbing some time.  KM subbers try a real sub some time

mostly i sub to sink BBs  symbols of those months i spent in dds cls and cas, even bb1-2  and i especially like to sink the big ones.

have a nice day.

Is this actually AB'ing instructions?

It is the intelligent option to do as it is so easy to sink a sub with asw that even you can do it.

off course the other vertion are the guys running multi accounts, some are obvious some are not the easy ones for instance are like the one i sore yesterday, c######ss01,02,03 all in the same room and only one ship controlled at a time give away. Then the slow reverso cv's not putting out any pilots. Problem is its a game that rellies on people being honest and fare but im affraid a lot off people just arn't

Are you referring to my post?  Avoiding ships at the same level such as ss6/bb6/cv6 going north vs. ss6/bb6/cv6 going south can be labeled as AB'ing.  Using strategy to optimize what you have as I said in my post is not AB'ing, in my opinion.  If you believe the correct way to play this game is to rush head on to your disadvantage.  I have nothing to say.  This definitely does not work in teamplay and HA.  Rushing a non-KM ss5 head on against KM ss6 and dying in the process can cause your team to lose in games like HA.  Strategy is part of most games.
