ijn was my first nation, but only have 2 level 80 cv bos...2 lines. my standard lineup is 2x fighters as i have bombers, fighters set to no return, so bombers get decent assistance. 2-3 DIVE bomber pilots max, i never torp, snd launch sll fighters first wave, then bombers start with 2nd wave...DB from behind and torp from angled side for max hit %-larger attack area. micro your FPs when you can.
of course, 2-3 DB pilots can launch double that plus more bombers.
any spotted ship is targeted for BBs, subs, other cvs, ya know. sometimes one recon but usually one seaman, who adds slight benefit to every other class.
