  • What I find wrong with this game

Hello fellow NF players,

I have ~level 90 german crew. Here is my experience in game: Join, wait till a BB gets injured so I can finish it off, win or die or both.

That's the problem. I have no chance in hell of even looking at a BB5-6 funny. So...this is very boring. All i'm doing in this game is waiting to get my next ship not so I can do well, but so I can stand a fighting chance.

This is me in my BB4. I would love an explanation: how does anybody after levl 60 enjoy this game where this problem is amplified many times more? Now you are a mere BB1 opposing BB4-6? What are you supposed to do besides hope your team does well?

I am not proposing any solution because I don't know of one. Rather, just my frustration with the game and why I don't play it any more.

So I would like to hear your opinions of this, please. Perhaps I am not a very good player? Perhaps I am taking the wrong approach?

It's not neccessarily the case that a lower tier BB has no chance against a higher tier one.

When I was levelling the French line using Normandie and Lorraine, I was very agressive. I tended to
charge at BB5s and BB6s, knowing they had a hard time hitting me, and on the majority of encounters,
I ended up winning or at least did a huge chunk of attack before dying, giving me good exp due to the
bonus you get for shooting ships of a higher tier.

It was so profitable that I skipped the Richelieu entirely and used a BB2 or 3 all the way to BB5.

Am doing the same while levelling my Soviet line now. The IM is a mean little beast that can hurt BB5s
and 6s alot, and I use that to my advantage. Some may say it's overpowered, but I don't care, while I can
profit from it, I sure as hell will. The Sevas is another good alternative.

You don't have to play the waiting game. If you find the H39 boring, use the Andrea Doria PBB.
It's small, pack a punch, and you're not such a big target that everyone is keeping their eyes on you. Moreover, with it being a Lv60 ship, you get better exp for charging and sinking a BB5 than you would waiting around to pick off scraps in a BB4.

I don't think it's fair that KM has but one ship (that is conveniently premium) to play in great battles well. Nearly all the non premium ships are large, and squishy.

Richardphat: Of course I have AA.

With the shared exp system this day and time, you should be in KM BB5 by now..... =.=

Opro2 will rock almost any BB if your decent BB driver

KM has a variety of ships that play exceedingly well in GB and in BB rooms.....you simply have to know how
to use them, know when to make a move and when not to, and to simply play patient.

what is your crew ? how many engis, reps, etc. ? Are they boosted vetted experted ?
what level and base are your engis ?
how much soft defence have you got ?
what guns are you using ? are they the L version with LHE ammo ?
Are you fitting armor ? what is your speed ????
Have you got the right FCS fitted ?

You should be having no problems in an h39, infact you should be slugging it out with bb5 not cowering behind your lines. The reason why people are laughing at you because they know your crew probably sucks and you probably arent using LHE ammo, which is a common noob mistake.
