So far, the torpedo bombers (TB1) seem to be better than the Dive Bombers (DB1). In fact, I even put my two DB Pilots back in HQ as I am moving towards upleveling my remaining two TB Pilots.
I've got lots of manual experience, since I have a UK PCV, so running the TBs is pretty easy except they get shot up almost all the time at their current low levels. You have to release the torps a long way off, giving the enemy plenty of time to dodge incoming torps. A half second later and their shot up to pieces quickly.
Unless someone tells me that the DB2 is an awesome bomber, I am not wasting game time on those two until further notice.
I will add, that the T2 fighters seem to be pretty good. I've been able to frustrate T4s by outrunning them back to their territory. They can also shoot down bombers and scouts, something the T1s couldn't even do very well. Only 40 more levels until I get my T4s!

You're right. They aren't Stukas. I was mistaken when I saw JU-52 and thought it was the Ju-87 Stuka. The Ju-52 is the transport plane, used by bothe RM and KM.
