Hey Atzeone, I played with you earlier today and, being that we were in game, didnt have time to really explain...

I believe it's better to class the gunners ASAP because you want to reach the ACC cap asap anyways. Most UK BBs you see have sailors they classed immediately, and as you can see, they reload just fine. Delaying by that many levels will drastically reduce your accuracy in the later stages of the game and it's not worth the cut. You will eventually reach your reload cap, but the biggest concern is ACC.

On a side note, you were correct and I was thinking of US Sailors, but I have done UK BB before and did fine by immediately classing.

This should belong in the UK section really.

But to the question: Class immediately and to Reload.
Delayed classing doesn't give much improvement and leaves you with quite useless gunners while doing it unless you powerlevel them..

if you go in uk thread area and view old data there, there lot of topic about gunners classing,

i would suggest to class your gunner on time, (i assume you got elite acc or a 12/10 gunners) class it to reload, you'll reach acc early around 80s and reload around 90(?)-100

It does seem based off of the other posts that I am wrong.

Difficulty to reach the caps is somewhat perceived. Accuracy is dependent upon several factors, Acc ability, guns, FCS, as well as the cap increasing with every level. At lower levels with low acc revision FCS there is only so much high acc ability can do for you. As you get to better FCS' and better gunners the spread tightens up (for the most part).

Bad accuracy is easily seen whereas bad reload can be somewhat overlooked.
