Hey NFers,

We all know it... 'yeey a new ship more gunspace'.
More gunspace, better guns. But there are multiple guns of the same type. Like 18". There are more guns you can select from 18".
HWell, how can i see which is the most range? Whiteout testing em all of course.
Train speed? and Muzzle velocy? What is train speed .....

So where i see which gun has the most range..

Thx

I believe it is dependent on muzzle velocity and what type of shells you are using. Something with higher velocity that ways less should, in theory, go further.

Of course thats how it works in real life so its probably not true in NF. :)

only way to find its exact range is by testing it muzzle velocity basicly just means its hangtime

I always use light.
So the best way is to test the gun with the MUST muzzle velocy?

Max angle can also affect range. Light shells will give the most range, naturally. The only way to really know is to test them.

PS train speed is how fast the guns rotate, as someone else pointed out

Max angle muzzle velocity and caliber. But some are broken or got their range altered. So always better to test them.

There are numerous things that affect range, talk to richardphat or angus about it you'll get interesting responses. If your looking for the longest range before you get it, generally speaking just check the forums or ask what the standard setup is and you'll have it.
