  • How much armour will bounce what shells?

Hi there!

I was wondering how much Deck armour will bounce (on average, obviously ships have different levels of penetration) what calibre shells? Is 5.8" much?

Rule of thumb:-

For GB's, if you can't bounce most BB4 shells, then don't armour. In fact, speed is better most of the time.

For tier based rooms, only armour if you can bounce your tiers shells (most of them). Don't expect to bounce IJN/SN. Look to bounce KM/MN/UK.

Yeah... there is alot wrong with that post...

There is more to armour penetration than gun angle.
