If you want a dominate MN CV I recommend going with elite FT's and elite bomber pilots. Im waiting to class mine until I reach lvl 120 to max out the vets. Also, I highly recommend having a seaman sailor on board equal to or greater than your highest lvl fighter. Your best bet is to buy a hero sailor and turn him into a seaman which will give you a +19 on the ft stat and +17 on everything else which is great. Hero sailors are perfect for seamn imo. Im running a lvl 106 all around crew 4 fts 2 db on a pcv with hero seaman sailor and a 110 engy and 115 restore. currently lvling 2 fts and 2 db sailors to lvl 105 until I can move forward towards cv6. my goal is to be able to run a 6ft-2db-1seaman setup regularly and if im in the mood to BW run 4ft-4db-1seamn. Love this line find that i can compete with most anyone with my fts so long as im not going up against an over vetted player. Sure USA line has best fts but lacks in the attack aspect where as MN line is a perfect balance of all 3 aircraft without any weakness. Not a fan of TB as it is shared xp but thats just me :) btw the local fighters are crazy good with elites and a hero seaman at the lower lvls. You will eat up most anyones fighters if your a good cv player.
