  • HH need HUGE REVISION

ok....ive been saying it for more than a year, but NF has the HH so screwed up its ridiculous....the HH is a CONTACT weapon made to attack submarines. The HH has a VERY SHORT range...it has no real damage potential to surface ships...the warhead was made to sink down and explode on CONTACT with submarines.
now with NF HH...you have the range of a BB 12 inch guns.....the wide ranging damage of depth charges...because all of your HH explode...and the ridiculous amount of damage that NF scores against a surface ship from a HH attack. NF you have nerfed the epx and damage that an SS scores....isn't  time to CORRECT the HH in the game?
I would accept the damage that HH does to a sub, but the range given to HH is so FAR beyond reality as to be ridiculous. proper range for  HH would be around 3 screen inches...but honestly NF....it is way past time nerf the HH range

Lulz, subs are still overpowered for this game, period.

Give them greater torp range because some of you can't handle being dominated by HH when you were and are dominating when not countered by them? Riiiight. Put down the crack pipe, kkthx.

Here's a thought to go along with that increase in torp range: Get rid of smoke use for subs, period. =.=

I have over 5000 Prem HH, I got a good mind to go 'exploita' head hunting with them.....

I don't think HH should be abolished, but their impact to surface ships should be nerfed or dud (like AA).

They should be mini-Depth charges and work similarly. Increase their underwater explosive power, increase the fuse time and shorten the range from the launchers.

Make it even less effective than AA keep the current damage but make it negative damage so anyone nooby enough to use them hurts themselves unless its used for ASW aka hitting subs

Whoever think I am biased and for PHH to stay, is retard and accuse me without proof. As if I don't know they really are OP and need the nerf.

Hell, I have blatantly post video to show they are Overpowered and need a nerf.
Check slayer6 thread about HH nerf. You would realize that I support the nerf.

I tell you about overpowered when BB could put bulge and tank 16 torps but dont.... BB could put HH but they dont everything is this game can counter subs... CVs with sonorman CVs with HH, FF and DD see Subs without sonorman and CL with sonorman can see subs before subs can see the CL...

@heatrr also you flaming and making drug comments is not needed plz remember the rules of the forms

whats wrong with using smoke for a sub? you have to surface to use it.. all other ships may use it? i cant pop a smoke out of a deck gun? i cant toss a few smoke nades from the conning tower? you sir put your crack pipe away and stop flaming.

alot of things in this game is unbalanced so be it. hh vs surface ships is one of them its dumb. fix it.
phh hit in 2 secs dumb. fix it.
several dozen mini dc explosions in seconds dumb. fix it.
wasting over half of my torps to kill 1 bb dumb. fix it. torps explode and you take on water/ or it explodes underneath you lift up due to air bubble and cracks your spine you= done for
over half of them being duds dumb. fix it. well maybe not alot were dud back in the day.
large cv 4,5,and 6 being able to see a ss? dumb fix it. they are bigger then ca and ca cant see them..
hh in blitz where there are no subs. dumb fix it
entire fleets crash in HA tile. dumb fix it.
mods not being able to do anything about said HA bug. dumb fix it- grow some and make things right.
aaw stat useless. dumb fix it.
aircraft stat useless. dumb fix it.

there are alot of crap messed up but no sense in argueing and flaming people over it. have simple discussions with out being an ass. yes it may take some effort.

lol....so having a DD fire a HH pattern FURTHER than an 8 inch of a CA makes sense?.....as I said before...RIDICULOUS.....as for subs being OP....they have already nerfed the exp for SS more than ANY other ship line in the game....then you have HH to "counterbalance" SS...but that counter balance is MORE op then the SS EVER was.....so sorry....when you look at the range issue ALONE...HH needs to be FIXED.....perhaps YOU need to put the pipe down

As for PHH discussion, we all know the points, but as long as subs are as imba as they are now, I say we leave the PHH alone. When subs get balanced properly I fully support a HH/PHH rebalance.

Hey, do you have a problem that subs are still overpowered in this game?

Do you have a problem with subs still being able to withstand the full broadside of a BB6, whereas a normal surface ship of equivalent level as your sub would have been one-shot?

Do you have a problem with subs being to run on the surface at 39-40 knots?

Do you have a problem with subs being able to use smoke?

Whether you answer them truthfully or not, I care less...about as much as I care less about your whine concerning HH. =.=
