so .. yes olympia came from nelson .. but no .. it is not at all the same group (they quit)
it is a few loyal core members continuiing to honor the tag and keep it alive until pn returns
some of us try to start rebuilding efforts from time to time ... but usually meet with ignorance ..

'stupid' pretty much covers your comments .. lets break it down into small words ..
'fleet leader who actually cares' .... ah .. there's the problem ... he ACTUALLY does ..
he cares enough to enter real-life service to his country and enroll in the USAF academy
as such he has no access to download and play the game while attending the academy
the fleet has been left in the squad leaders hands to try to keep going until he can return
some of us have tried to keep holding on .. so that he has a fleet to come back to at least
others have forsaken the fleet and sulked off to find 'bigger' mega-ego fleets to be part of
i am one of those who beleive that it is a point of honor to remain and accept the charge given
to keep at least part of the fleet alive so that pn has a home to return to after his training is done
yes - olympia gets laughed at by some .. because we hold honor and loyalty above pride and ego
'hall of famers' ... we'ld be happy to welcome any who wish to join and help build the fleet back up
but ship level is not the sole measure of a quality member .. even high level rats jumped ship too
olympia fleet is about a willingness to commit and work hard to do your part in building the fleet ..
seems to be too much to ask of most casual players .. fun before honor is their motto apparently ..
olympia will remain as a fleet for as long as even one of our loyal members remains in game ..
we will hold it for the real fleet leader to return to after his training at the academy is completed ..
the state of the fleet at that time will be a testament to the MEMBERS of the fleet ...
not a refelection on the fleet leader .. the fleet leader does actually care ..
its all about if the members care enough to honor his service in return ..
i can handle being laughed at .. if it allows me to help maintain a home for a serviceman to return to ..
i'm doing my part to keep the fleet alive at least ... even if it means dealing with ignorant comments ..
