Meh, just because it isn't ugly as hell I would hesitate to call it a nerf. Knowing SDE they probably
won't change the stats when they port it over to the NFNA servers, so if you look at the raw data:
About 3k more DP
Roughly 100 tons more usable displacement (which will be eaten up by the crew in any case)
Less able to turn and lower overheat ratio (which may or may not be countered depending on its
cruise speed)
Can't shoot down aircraft with AAW
No torpedo carrying capacity increase
So, you probably can't really call it an upgrade except for the DP increase, but on the flip side, it
does have the most DP out of all the SS4.

Without that, I don't even think I'd drive the ship.
I mean, there's barely any positives about the HEI.
............except for the 4 minutes of overheat, 4 minutes underwater, 900SD, and the
ability to cripple or sink any ship in the game with one 8-torp salvo

i dont belive this is a accurate post for months we have been told the US SS4 will be
Gato (6 front tubs, 4 aft tube) and arguably the best sub class of ww2. so whats up
NF US gets the raw side of the deal every single time i recomend a buff for US subs
atleast if this is accurate

Its a big mistake..
There were better submarines classes in USN than some "unknown" cachalot class. The same
is with KM. Who the hell need some useless deck guns? I just made KM sub 3, and I think it
was a mistake (I should have done IJN). Definitely this will be the worst ss 4 in the
game.. No serious upgrades, instead of uselesss AA Guns.
Japanese sub will be owning with so many front torpedo tubes.

SS4's are going to ruin this game... This is no bash at SS players, it just that NF was
designed for BB on surface battles, plain and simple.
