Sorry for making so many threads just to ask questions O:

Firstly my gunners are level 51 and I'm at Balty. But my spread is veryyyyyyyy bad.
So should I boost and Vet/expert them ? Their stats are 12/9 and 12/8. =/

Meh. I got my gunners up to 90 or so without spending any money on them, my
supports I've BVE'd using my NFAFL winnings. Theoretically you can expert and mostly
vet your entire crew up without paying a cent, it just takes time.

"With such low numbers, you can try to do regular conversions, but past 70 or 80 you'll
probably have to apply vet items to get them any higher."

Say it isnt so! First DR house is no more, then you tell people to spend money on NF?!?!?!

"Full BVE" refers to a sailor that has been boosted (premium sailor upgrade
purchased), has 100-109 vets, and a healthy supply of experts. That's what most
people consider to be fully utilizing the sailor's capability, and achieving/maintaining
this level of veterans is either very fast or reasonably cheap.

Some people will sport sailors that have 150, 180, or even 200 veterans, but these
are in the extreme minority. While their performance is truly fearsome, the amount
of experts needed to produce crews like this is staggering, and often represents a
significant investment of time and real money.

With your base stats you definitely want to go reload for the last classing. Luckily
they're not UK Accuracy sailors, otherwise you'd be clawing your eyes out with a toothpick.

And yes to the rest.

so I should give them 100 vets, the rest experts? and I dont need to class them acc
anymore right? Thanks for the advices guys.

Don't forget to class them Reload Huge gunners. If you choose Acc huge, you will be doomed
due to long reload times.

You only have ten vets on each gunner, that's your problem right there. Get more vets, and
you'll see your spread improve drastically.

With such low numbers, you can try to do regular conversions, but past 70 or 80 you'll
probably have to apply vet items to get them any higher. As long as you keep a good number
of experts on while you convert (as in, don't do mass conversions all the time), you won't
be forced to use expert items to get your spread back on par.

Theres no real point to giving gunners more then the standard 100 vets. Out of all the
sailors you can have on a battleship gunners cap the earliest. Once a gunner's skill is
capped, the only way to improve them further would be to level them.

okay, so if I boost them, then give 130 vets, 200 experts, I won't get bad spread
anymore right?

and boost means boosting the base ability, or the growth rate. cause some boosted
gunners i've seen have up to 3X acc or sth like that.
