I have at this moment two Bo's level 48, one brooklyn line the other northampton line.
In some treads I read about people who maintain both lines to keep their crew ahead
of their BO.
Now I was wondering if I would choose the CV line over the BB line would I hamper my
ablity of my crew on the other bb line?

Thanks in advance

If you eventually want to go CV, you can lvl up another BO and some crew and pilots.

If you have 3 BO's (2 bb, 1 cv) you should have no problems keeing all your crews
(gunners, support, and pilots) ahead of your BO's so you can over preform for your ship
level with each new bb/cv you get.

In fact, with 3 BO's you would have enough space to lvl up some spare sailors (engineers
or fighters with good stats) to sell later on for some profit.

Indeed. If you're playing two ship lines to raise more gunship supports and to keep
your gunners ahead of your ship level, then it needs to be both the Alaska and
Nevada paths. Make the CV path your eventual third crew. (And you'll have had
plenty of time to raise lots of rookie pilots to 40 or 45.)

If you're going down the CV line, you'll need some pilots to go with it, unless you plan
to drive only a Pensacola and Sevastapol with that BO.

The disadvantage from choosing Bogue over Nevada is that you can't really level BB crew on
a CV effectively, since you need those support slots to carry pilots, and you don't get R
mounts until Yorktown; on top of that, gun mounts on CVs are useless 9 times out of 10,
unless you want to use hedgehogs or whatnot.

You're far better off simply picking the Nevada and going with that. Besides, if you're
keeping your crew ahead, you'll have an easier time in both the Nevada and the Alaska/Guam.

If you go the CV route you can still level you BB support but only if you use a Sevastopol.

If you buy the premium BB you can use the CV BO to raise your crew.

Some people might say its a crap ship but there is nothing wrong with leveling some crew
in it.

The thing is, that you need to keep your gunners ahead of your BO to get good performance
and the supports at the same level (they get less XP than your BO)... so you need another
gunship you can use without your main BO... so eventually you should start another BB
Bo... on the other side you also need a BO to keep the pilots levels high because they
suffer the same problem as your supports...
