Pretty much we'ere now using pre-dated to WWI type ships. The same concept of using modern
ships = crap. Sticking to the WWII ships is the best way to keep us happy. Though despite
the fact that we all raise our eyebrow when we do see the Texas, San Marcos whatever you
would like to call it. It is in fact intriging. A small and rather menacing ship in my
honest opinion. Played by the right players, this thing can easily take on a low class BB,
BC on its own. It's size is perfect to avoid most shots from a distance and it's weapons
do pack a punch. A very interesting ship and I like to see more of this ship in action,
though I already seen fire using it, I would still like to see more.

OKay, this is like the 5th time I've posted this.

The TEXAS that NF is representing with this little CL is NOT BB-35 that fought in
ww2. It is in fact the PREVIOUS USS Texas, a second class battleship laid down in
1889. It was a pre-dreadnought design of 6300 tons, and had one 12" gun at
either end. She was renamed the SAN MARCOS in 1911 so that the name TEXAS
could be used for BB-35.

Why the hell the designers decided to use a pre-dreadnought Texas is beyond me.
A dumbass choice, but there it is.

Anyway, READ before you RANT. http://www.hazegray.org/danfs/battlesh/

when I first saw the Texas CL, I honestly thought that the model was just a temporary
place holder for a bigger ship model in the making... I'm still hoping that's the case
