Because the SY is better.

More range, very good damage (2 shots every BB5), 42 knots, 45 degree angle
with 18" guns = no problem against armour, fantastic AA. The only thing the
Montana has over the SY is a slightly smaller hitbox, spread and more damage.

Both are fantastic ships however, I love playing the Montana. However, overall, the
SY is the better ship imo.

i'm just curious but why is it that even with the Montana's way overpowered broadside, no
one, besides nubbles, has elected the Monty as the best BB5?

There are some French BBs in tiers 1-3 that might be cool. But tbh I have no idea which is
what. It almost seems like everyone is using the Paris and the EBB for their grind.

And French CV are best BW, but I always facepalm when I see the BW in my team. Because it
means the enemy has the FW and this means the round is gonna suck really bad, statistically.

good ship

BB5: Montana; is there anything better than watching a non-AWed QV get one-shotted?

BB6: Queen Victoria; it's not "God Save the Queen", it's "God Save whoever she's firing at"

some ships shine; Such as Kaiser in large line battles, QV in isolated fights

DD = ZNeinNein - longest ranging DD

CL = Brook/Cleve - I never use this ship, but this ship is the only CL that can kill me in
less than 10 secs with its trip guns. Fun ship indeed.

CA = Deutch - It's fast, it's not a BB, and it has BB guns. LOL

SS = HEI Type I - 8 fwd torps. Just 8 fwd torps.

BB = Never used a BB before.

CV = US Midway - Mustangs + crapload of guns.

APA = Atlantis - errrrr..... KM guns maybe?

*DD - Z99; never played it but that seems to be the general concensus

CL - Oyodo; THIS THING CAN BOMB YOU!!!

CA - Moltke/Mandel; huge firepower and AA for PCAs and can hit insane speeds

SS - HEI Type 1; ready to ram 8 torps up you ship's @$$

BB - Montana; any explanation needed?

CV - Midway; $h!t loads of aricraft space + kick @$$ US Fighters + loads of guns = epic win
