yea its sucks i have a jap cv with with lvl35 tb and they still suck bad

TBers get killed very easy cause most auto AA guns from any ship will kill 3/4 of ur fleet of TBers at a low altitude. the only good TBers are US and UK but still as inferior than the DBer. and dun forget rlding ammo and plane for TBer is far more expensive than the DBer so yea grind your way to DBer if you can.

lv33 IJN TB has lesser HP, lesser defense compare to other nations' first TB(other nations get their first TB around lv40~45). Plus, the pilot might be inexperienced as well.

If you compare lv40 IJN TB with other nations' first TB, it's about the same. However, keep in mind that ally can have 8~9k dmg TB torpedo in the end while axis can only reach up to 4~5k dmg.

reason why ppl think jap tb suck is becoz they are all low levels...

jap get tb at lv 33 compared to UK=42 and US=45...
so when u think about it... no sailors are good at lv 33...

u have to wait till they ar higher lv before they are effective..

also they r harder to use so many ppl think they suck but they just more difficult

I got em, heres what i think

Negatives:
-slow
-range is craptastic, i can't cross map w/ them, non-the-less find a cv
-torps do 5k? my arse i've never done 5k, most torps hit for 2 to 3k damage, EVEN ON BULGLESS TARGETS
-you can launch torps before heavy AA fire but they rarely hit
-when launched after AA fire most of your planes are dead before they get torps off and those that do get them off...die. I have the first set of tb, maybe the second one can survive more, as of now, it's rare to get all 4 planes back

Positives:
-it's cool to actually tb something
-don't have to worry about armor, deck stays, bulge goes away

Germany has worse TB we have 2nd worse :s

If IJN torpbombers can launch two torps for TB pilots 60+, that would actually make them worthwhile.

japs have best (our 2nd best) Dive bombers and worst torp bombers...

i still think torp bombers r alot more fun....

Wait a sec, they did not patch IJN aerial torps to korean server stats???

they aren't THAT bad. They are just horrible. Especially Jap TBs.

Why?

Japs get early TBs, so you use them, but then they have to fly low, and TBs of low level get shot a lot easier if you fly low, so there goes what little planes you have, along with some experts from your pilots.

Jap TBs are weak, compared to the 8k dmg or 8.8k dmg of US or UK TBs, Japs do only 5k. Yah, that really would hurt...given that 1 of your planes actually survives AAW.
