to make your move.
Will you tank rush someone who out ranges kept running?


The IJN, MN do have moderate range but can get outrange easily by higher tier.
Yet, they focus on their aa.
Also, just because UK AA is the worst, doesn"t mean it is crap.
You can be worse among something else, but you can still be useable.
The RPs 10 is very useable when you reload cap.

the pom poms are quite worthless.

if AA on UK ships, its the RP10s, or if no AA, then the extra rep's worth it...

I would say just go with extra supports so you can:

1. Go faster and try to dodge bombs and torps
2. Repair faster in case you do get hit.

My 2 cents, but honestly I dont think pom poms are worth the trouble but to each thier own.

Tried pompoms tonight in a CV room, yes a CV room, where there are like a billion
planes buzzing overhead like flies...

still not enough range, still couldn't kill CV4 bombers before they came in a straight line
and dbed me, can't really kill LFP either and we all know how fragile those are.

Conclusion is, yes, it's fun, but will remaining just that for the forseenable future.

but hey if someone is dumb enough to leave their planes circling overhead for you to
shoot then go for it

5k personal in first game with Pom Pom's. Its def more fun now :P

the GA for pom poms is actually 49 they get more range ( for the little they have )
