I have an p-pro and i cant see any change in the shell damadge with or without
armour.
I sometimes use bulkhead, and sometimes use Deck, i still have the first 11" (80k
exp to go :() and can carry 2.1"deck or 28 bulkhead. I cant really see any difference
in damadge i take during battle. Even when i fight totally without armour.

Same deal Jugy, Go with little to no armor. use your km advantages. Speed, and
range. Hit and run tactics work the best for km, especially the PS line.

anything under 2" of deck or under 4" belt is basically just there to stop crew deaths.

Or you could always do what i did. Take the advice of Obst and others. No armor at
all. The strong points of the P and P2 are being able do dart in and out. Rush into
range score some hits and pull back out again. you could put some armor on, ,but as
i've noticed even in my p2, armor doesnt really make a difference, wait until u get O
Pro for armor.

I have some trouble picking my armor too, but i think it has to do with your fighting
style because the deck armor is used to protect against shells that hit you from a
downward angle like light shells do when fired at long range. but i think that the
bulkhead is your best bet if you
usually rush in for the kill

Deck armor by all means. Bulkheads allow your engine to run on full speed after taking
more damage. Generally Bulkheads work well with engineers since that can keep your engine
running after more serious damage.

Maybe the calibre of the shells hitting you are too great in magnitude for your armor to
cope with. But 2.1" should reduce 6" damage considerably and partially 8" but for 11"+
more armor is required.
