  • KM Medic effectiveness....

Did some digging around, but couldn't find an answer to this although some did mention it
in a post, just wasn't answered. Anyways.. the question:

In what slot do medics function the best? Dock or on ship? Or do they function to the same
degree either way?

If anyone had supporting evidence, greatly appreciated.

Seeing as how he didn't ask any questions, I don't think he searched for this topic. Does
that mean he actually went to PAGE 30??? My gods man, you need to get something else to do
besides forum scavenge.

And for the record, it's generally ill advised to respond to any thread that hasn't been
posted on for more than one month.

Medic works normally with seaman.

Medic works in any slot (but, the link above says support slot is preferable. I don't
understand why.)

I'm making a medic b/c my CV pilot deaths are absurd. Totally ridiculously over the top.
So high, I don't bother to play CV...

haha yes i have a Revo 2.5R :) takes a real good beating. LOL last time i thought for sure
it was dead after it took a good 10 foot tumble.. knocking off the airfilter and the pipe..
got at least 25' horizontal distance before i crashed though. over 10 foot vert. ^^ was dope

back to topic.. yeah maybe km forum would have it.. but its not specific to KM (since ijn needs
them too) + thanks for ur reply + info i shall keep him on my T slot :)

I have used a KM medic on my IJN CV since oyodo. The medic is now almost lvl 89
and makes a significant difference in crew death. It works just as well in a support
slot as it does in a T slot, I have used mine exclusively on T slots. I noticed no
difference in performance since that patch....

The only problem I noticed is that if I combined a IJN seaman with a KM medic on my
IJN CV my crew death would be at 'no medic' levels. Im not sure why exactly, but the
seaman caused the medic to not work. They may have fixed it since then... last time
I checked was a couple months ago and the bug still existed. The bug only
happened with the IJN seaman and KM medic, a KM seaman and KM medic was not
bugged, so only by mixing IJN and KM could I get the bug. To avoid the bug (if it still
exist) simply dont use a IJN seaman on the same ship as a KM medic.

4. The effects of the German medic can be used at its full potential on Japanese
ships. As for the same, the effects of the US medic can be used at its full potential on
UK ships for it's ally relations.

Patch date 2/13

At any rate, as I asserted before: the "effectiveness" of 'a' medic, in general, is
under serious debate and scrutiny.

You would get more help if you posted this in the proper forum: the KM Forum.

Furthermore, the "effectiveness" of 'a' medic, in general, is under serious debate
