it has happened to me also,i couldn't play the game for one week,now i redownloaded and reinstalled the game! Also do you use xp or win98 or something else,i couldn't open the game with 98 and downloaded xp instead,
I advise you to install the game manually..that will work.(+ copy a your game to somewhere just incase something happens)
