I have had this problem on both my laptop, which I am using now, and my monster of a tower. It seems that if you ALT-Tab to desktop then use CTRL-ALT-DEL to close the Navyfield executable, and then restart the game fixes the problem every time for me, without exceptions. This could work for you, I hope it does.

That happens to me on my desktop as soon as i log in it will sometimes turn white and completely freeze my pc

I am beginning to think that alot of our problems, (The Crashing to desktop, white and black screens before log in, The C++ debug error) may be issues between teh game and SP2 or Directx9c.....I have neither installed on my laptop and I have no issues....my laptop is a base SP1 loadout, as it is for note taking. If that is that case, I have no way around the issues, just deal with them,and hope TNF finds away to fix them. I haven't recieved anything official about the C++ debug error that occurs everytime I play Op Convoy, but seeing as the game runs perfectly on my machine with SP1 there could be issue there

I got it to work now thx! But now I face a different problem: disconnecting all the time and "loose control" problems. I got the same problem with my destop, but with the laptop I barely can start a battle before it happens. Any clues on this issue? Desktop XP Pro Sp2, laptop XP home Sp1.

i get this problem on my laptop too occasionally, it seems to just lag on the laptops part of processing the game graphics. the ship yard usually comes up after a little while.

but yeh... thank god i still have my monster of a tower :) it's nice to be able to play games in your bed under the covers without having to move all day though.

I get the chance to login, it큦 after that when it should load the shipyard. Are tou also using a laptop? My desktop works fine, thank god!
