For a reasonable response, I'd say stick with either 6" singles until you get your gunners
up higher. If you can't stand the single barrel, go 4.7" doubles until you get the 5.25"
at lvl 27.

I personally went 6" for a while but got tired of the slow rate of fire so 3 dual barrel
4.7"s worked fine. =D

If you cant get the *second* (lighter) set of twin 5-inch guns then dont buy an L-
Class until you can. With only three turrets you really need twins to make up the
difference.
