Now we all have seen the devastating results of an eecanrush and I know you are all dying to ask how but too scared to ask me so I thought I'd write this guide to help you little newbies out =)
Now a good eecanrush starts in the shipyard. Here you decide whether you want to be armoured or quick, regardless of which choice you decide you will sell those rear guns (A ship with the majority of its guns in the front is preferable). They are useless to you because ideally the enemy will be perpendicular to you, any other angle is ineffective, unless of course you have crossed the enemy and are turning around for another rush which is forgiveable. Also get rid of that useless scout (who the hell uses them anyway?), as it merely takes tonnage you could use for precious, precious armour or slows you down.
Now if you are armouring spend most of your armour on belt and some bulge to cover 1-2 torps. The belt whoring as opposed to deck encourages you to rush instead of range (Stupid noob runners), the bulge lets you take a few scratches from that pesky tw before you run him down in your glorious rush.
Now rear gun free and armoured/light you are free to click on the yellow arrow of joy, which unleashes your eecanrushing dreadnought upon the poor, frail masses of ships trying to hide from you in their GB's and Blitzes. Select your victims (There are plenty of rooms to choose from) and practice pressing 'F' until the game starts to warm up your engines.
When the game starts, spam F for maximum power! This pulls you out ahead of your team and in front of your own tws, who will either hold their fire in respect of your awesomeness (Disregard the chat channel, sometimes it malfunctions during the intensity of an eecanrush) or they will torp behind you in a pathetic attempt to score some hits on what little enemy ships that will remain in your devastating wake.
When you make contact with the enemy, swat the DDs out of your way with your cunningly placed front guns before picking out a CL or a CA (Their guns turn slower so they are more susceptible to eecanrushing). Now once you are in range of the target ignore everything else but the target and continue to unleash barrage after barrage of hell upon the poor souls (Who will be stunned into inaction by the intensity of your focus).
Continue closing in range and if you can, cross the target and then turn around to hit him again to screw around with his targeting. Obviously nothing can withstand such an awe-inspiring display of your obvious naval strength and the target should have been sunk within seconds of your heroic feat. Now you can sit back and relax as the enemy team flees in terror, losing their minds and crashing carelessly into each other in their futile attempts to escape the wrath of an eecanrush. Hunt them down and end the deranged stragglers one by one as they beg for mercy. Take no prisoners, after all, the only deliverance from the horrific aftermath of an eecanrush *is* death.
